Fudge Making Activity

Mister Ed's offers a fun Friday activity for small groups of children. Schedule a time for your school, day care, homeschool, scouting or other educational group to visit Mister Ed's to learn about food safety, chocolate, and fudge, then do a make-your-own fudge activity with a choice of yummy toppings. Cost is $8 per participant.

We accept a minimum of 8 people per session. We are only able to accommodate groups, not individual reservations.

The approximately 30 minute presentation includes discussion on the history of chocolate, chocolate cultivation and production, and fudge. Students will leave with a more thorough understanding and appreciation of chocolate from bean to bar and the candy making process. Students will also go home with their very own flavor of fudge made using a variety of inclusions.

Tours are limited to Fridays September through May between 10 a.m.-2 p.m. because of our weekly kitchen schedule. Tours are not done June through August. We can accommodate up to 10 people at a time. Larger groups will be divided into multiple sessions.

Because you will be entering an active commercial kitchen, attendees are required to wash their hands and wear personal protective equipment, like gloves, hairnets and aprons; no exceptions.

Interested in the activity and have your group gathered? Fill out the contact form, being sure to note that you're looking to do a fudge class for an organized group, and we'll be in touch with available dates.

Note: This activity is not for groups under 8 people. All products are manufactured in a facility and on the same equipment and utensils as: peanuts, tree nuts, egg, soy, milk, wheat, coconut and artificial color. Fudge contains dairy but does not contain egg. Basic fudge ingredients are not wheat containing except for inclusions in certain flavors.
