Mister Ed's is known for it's amazing FREE family-friendly community events for children living in and around Gettysburg and Chambersburg and beyond.

Each year, about 1,200 children and their families celebrate special holidays with us during three keystone events:

Our Events

Easter Egg Hunt & Bunny Party
More than 400 children come to hunt up to 10,000 Easter eggs filled with candy and other prizes. Other activities include face painting, a coloring contest, and a visit with the Easter Bunny. Always the Saturday of Palm Sunday weekend.

How to register: Registration information is posted on Facebook and Eventbrite.com one month prior to the hunt. The event is free but registration is required.
Great Pumpkin Party
About 500 children celebrate fall during this free event. Each child can paint one pumpkin, and Halloween costumes are encouraged. Attendees can also watch as a master pumpkin carver turns giant pumpkins into works of spooky art. Purchase a raffle ticket, benefiting the Adams County SPCA, and you might win a carved giant pumpkin for your front porch! Always the third Saturday in October. Registration is not required.

Santa Party
Santa comes to Mister Ed's, ready to hear all about the Christmas wishes of attendees. Bring a letter for Santa to put in our special North Pole mail box. Always the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Registration is not required.
